Meet Carrie the owner of Bristol Riding School. She has been a BHS AI since June 2005 and also holds an equine-specific first aid certificate. You will see her around the riding school.


Meet Amanda, our chief instructor, who we have had on the team for 10 years. She has in-depth knowledge in all things horsey. Amanda always comes up with super-engaging lesson ideas for all instructors.


Meet Trina, our 10-star hacking lady, who you will see if you go out on a hack on the weekend. (if she's not on holiday!)


Meet Verity, she started as a helper and client at Bristol riding school 5 years ago and has now become a brilliant member of staff. You will see her smiley face across the whole riding school.


Meet chatty Charlie, you will often find Charlie having a conversation with yourself. She joined the team in 2022. Charlie is a friendly, knowledgeable instructor


Meet Alex, who joined the team in 2018. Alex assists in taking hacks out, pony days and has a professional background with SEN children. Alex overseas our SEN packages.


Meet Shaynie. Shaynie joined the team in 2023. She has hands-on experience working with SEN children. She also feeds her knowledge into our SEN packages. Shaynie is a friendly, bubbly character.


Meet Barb, Barb oversees a lot of our pony day and camp arts and crafts activities. She is here at all pony days and camps. Her main responsibility is child welfare.


Meet Rubie, who joined in 2020 with a history of working and assisting at a riding school since her early teens. Rubie wears many hats, including instructor, yard jobs and all admin (especially what Carrie can't do).s
